  QuickSell 2000 Overview
 

QuickSell 2000 v. 3.0 is a fully integrated point-of-sale and business management software system running under Windows 95/98/NT. As a 32-bit application, QuickSell 2000 is built for the most demanding of retail needs. The software can enhance the efficiency of any retail business while providing important data for cash and inventory management.

Designed to serve small and medium-sized retail businesses, QuickSell incorporates features applicable to specialty hard goods and soft goods stores, as well as the high volume, fast-paced environment of convenience stores. It offers breakthrough features that make it dramatically easier to set up, manage, and process sales transactions for any retail business.

QuickSell 2000 is a fast, dependable, easy-to-use, yet extremely powerful POS system for the Windows environment. It is designed to run on any IBM AT, PS/2, or 100% compatible computer, and can be operated on a single machine or as part of a local area network.

QuickSell 2000 provides great flexibility for configuring POS systems using industry standard devices. It supports multiple POS devices (scanners, printers, pole displays, etc.) connected to the serial ports, the parallel port, or the keyboard input on the PC. Additionally, it is compatible with the leading Windows-based accounting software packages such as Peachtree Accounting, QuickBooks, and MYOB.

The QuickSell 2000 POS program handles all types of sales transactions. Cashiers can use one simple screen to process sales transactions and returns, scanning or keying in items quickly and accurately. QuickSell 2000 handles layaways, sales quotes, work and back orders, and on-account transactions as simply as cash sales. The software provides complete invoice histories for full reporting, allows multi-tendering and online credit card authorization, and accepts foreign currencies, split payments, and food stamps.

The QuickSell 2000 Manager program automates back-office operations. Beyond basic inventory control features, its advanced capabilities promote optimum inventory levels, control costs, and set pricing. It supports millions of items of different types (standard, kit, serialized, matrix, lot matrix, tag-along, parent-child, gasoline, mix & match, etc.).

QuickSell 2000 can automatically generate purchase orders. Merchandise is priced accurately and automatically, based on list price, quantity breaks, customer discounts, or markup from cost.

Additionally, retailers can add items received from their suppliers (or items transferred from other stores) without using purchase orders. This provides a way to add items to the database and record the process. Retailers can also transfer out items to other stores or remove items from their inventory without affecting their overall costs.

Accurate customer information is instantly available at business owners' fingertips to improve credit control and customer service. QuickSell 2000 tracks customers' preferences, shopping habits, payment history, and allows multi-level pricing to provide special discounts for preferred customers. Retailers can view, create, and maintain a detailed up-to-date customer list that they can eventually use as a foundation for mass mailings.

QuickSell 2000's powerful report generator offers instant access to a wealth of meaningful data. With the point-and-click report generator, business owners can run instant sales analysis, identify slow moving items, see sales for any day, by cashiers, registers, departments, categories, customers, or taxes. All reports and graphs can be pre-viewed on screen, printed, or exported to external word processors.

Additionally, QuickSell 2000 incorporates features (i.e., inter-store inventory transfers) and options to support multi-store operations. To use these features, you will need QuickSell Headquarters (HQ). The QuickSell product line enables retailers to effectively manage multi-store operations, giving them the tools to grow from a single store to dozens or hundreds of stores easily, effortlessly, and without integration.
